Welcome back to the world of Microsoft Power Platform!
In our digitalized world, we’re constantly using applications to complete tasks both at work and in our free time. Some of there tasks can be interesting, whereas others tend to get quite repetitive. Wouldn’t it be neat to find a quicker and more efficient, yet still accurate way of completing them?
Microsoft Power Platform is designed for such situations. It is a suite of low-code and no-code tools and services that empower users to build custom applications and thus simplify or even automate tasks.
This is the second course out of four on the Microsoft Power Platform microdegree. By completing the whole degree (8 ECTS), you’ll have all the skills and knowledge you need to start developing, creating, and managing your own Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
In this course, we’ll learn to design, create, and make use of Power Apps solutions. We’ll start by covering the theoretical aspects related to data, security, and design before moving on to the practical side of things.
It is recommended to complete the sections in order, starting from the first one.
No programming skills or extensive knowledge about IT terminology is required on this course, but it is recommended to complete the Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals course (2 ECTS) before taking on this one.
After this course, you’ll have a vast understanding of creating application solutions using Microsoft Power Apps. You’ll also be more prepared for studying for the official PL-100 Power Platform App Maker certificate exam provided by Microsoft.
The scope of this course is three European study credits (3 ECTS), and a pass/fail grading system is used. You must complete every assignment in order to pass the course. You can advance at your own pace and move around the course platform as you go – take your time to review from time to time and get the most out of your studies. Once you’ve completed the course, you will receive a course completion certificate and a LinkedIn sharable badge to show your new skills.
The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a tool of the European Higher Education Area for making studies and courses more transparent. It helps students to move between countries and to have their academic qualifications and study periods abroad recognized. ECTS allows credits taken at one higher education institution to be counted towards a qualification studied for at another. ECTS credits represent learning based on defined learning outcomes and their associated workload. ECTS enhances the flexibility of study programmes for students. It also supports the planning, delivery and evaluation of higher education programmes. It is a central tool in the Bologna Process, which aims to make national education systems more comparable internationally. ECTS also helps make other documents, such as the Diploma Supplement, clearer and easier to use in different countries. ECTS has been adopted by most of the countries in the European Higher Education Area as the national credit system and is increasingly used elsewhere.
